Each day, as I arrive at work, I now tell my friends on my ham radio how I survived another day driving my Camry. I bought one because of the reputation. I was tired of the uber repair jobs to my Jeep and VW Bug. I have to say in the almost three years of ownership I have almost no repairs...now I have the first recall notice in my hot little hand. I wish they would just take my car and give me a refund. I am sure this will affect my resale value as well. This sucks. Where are consumer rights? I guess only time will tell.

Well, I have owned my Camry for 10 years and my only complaint is the electric windows. I love my Camry and I have gotten my money's worth out of a reliable car.

That's okay, Lisa. I think they are already repairing the units that are included in the recall and they covered the repair costs. So I think there's no need to resell your Camry.

I hope everything went well, Lisa. Yeah, a recall is a big hassle, but don't worry too much. It's for the good. When all repairs are done, you can have it again. I know the Camry is one fascinating car. My dad owns one and I'm, like, all eyes on it!
